Marjorie Carruthers-Wood, YES, She would!

Marjorie Curruthers-Wood is a proud housewife, and a true bastian of the domestic arts.

She loves to share her baking tips, etiquette rules and fashion suggestions…whether you want them or not.

Somewhat conservative in her views, Marjorie is the first to volunteer to help out in her local town, and whips the sandwich making production line into shape whenever pressed meat and piccalilli sandwiches are required.

Marjorie has travelled widely to all of the neighbouring towns, and has visited the ‘Big Smoke’ a number of times.

She ran for local member under the slogan “Marjorie Curruthers-Wood...Yes she would!”, but was disappointingly pipped at the post by, local celebrity, Chopping Pete, the reigning woodchop champion.

Marjorie is so proud to bring you the stories of the Ladies of Burdoo Springs, and reassures her local neighbours that absolutely none of the characters represent anyone they may know, living or dead.
